Haiku 1
if your voice
can’t carry your words
the wind will
Haiku 2
flies cast circles
sunlight shadow dances
on oak leaves
Haiku 3
clouds cover sky
wait for storm’s arrival
leaves wind dance
Haiku 4
May brings sunshine
but no answers to why clouds
dim my point of view
Haiku 5
kitten under car
green-eyed curiosity
stares at my fingers
Haiku 6
feral eyes bewitch
benevolent passers-by
but her tail says no
Ukrainian Haiku 7
sunflowers still grow
in graveyards made from rubble
burnt flag waves in wind
a child walks alone
his hand holds a teddy bear
border lies ahead
Orthodox Easter
two nations worship same faith
mothers bury sons
